The WRA’s are the Oscar’s of our industry and recognize local remodeling contractors who exceed in their field. Connor Remodeling & Design received gold awards in the following categories:
Residential Kitchen $20,000 – $40,000 GOLD AWARD WINNING PROJECT
Open views, more storage and creating space for an island were the primary objectives of this remodel. Removing soffits and taking the cabinets to the ceiling maximized storage, A broom closet was eliminated and a wall was pushed back to create more room for an island. Upgrades that added to the overall room appearance included custom maple-painted cabinetry with a dark stained alder island as a contrast, plus the addition of stainless steel appliances.
Residential Interior Under $50,000 GOLD AWARD WINNING PROJECT
The remodel of this condo began with ideas from a magazine. The client wanted the look without the price tag. Laminate material was used to build the custom cabinets within budget. A fabricated custom stainless steel bracket was created to support the new frosted glass table. Triangular glass shelves were designed to fit the kitchen angles.
Residential Exterior Specialty GOLD AWARD WINNING PROJECT
A pool house cabana was needed for entertaining and personal relaxation. The cabana is functional in that the client can open one or all screens, letting in as much breeze or sunlight as they want. A storm door was built to allow entry, so the screens could remain closed, eliminating access for bugs. The trim, siding, paint color and roof design all match the house. A coordinated sound system was installed inside the cabana and outside by the pool. The heated pool has an automatic cover.
